Easy ways to update the look of your room on a budget!

Hello everyone & welcome back to another blog! This blog is going to be about tips/ideas on room decor for not much cost! These are just my thoughts and what I like, you can do whatever - as much or as little as you want. If you like my blogs, dont forget to subscribe to get nottified every time I post! Ok, lets get onto some room decor!

First up when decorating a room, make sure to stick to a color scheme. If you have a room with lots of colors, It can look to busy (not really calming, like you would usually want a room to be). I think one or two main colours looks best, but three shades of the same colour can also look cool. If you choose a bright colour, you can tone it down by using paler colours with it. If you are considering completely repainting your room, think about using a neutral shade like white or pale grey ...this means you can easily accessorise it to fit your new favourite colours, as often as you like! Yay!

Some ideas for cheap decorations and accessories are:

- why spend loads on a piece of wall art, when you can download and print an image off the net and stick in a $2 shop frame!

- rather than swapping out your whole room, you can just add a couple of cheap cushions and a throw in your new colour scheme (www.thewarehouse.co.nz are great).

- you can pick up cheap fairy lights, which add a cosy feel to your room, after christmas.

- you can find cool things at second-hand shops, a wee bit of work to up-cycle and a new look to fit your colour scheme!

This room includes some features you might not have realised are so easy to find, - the flowers you could pick up at any $2 shop, the wall art as I said would be very easy and cheap to create,the lovely bedding wich you could find at some shops for cheap (www.cotonon.co.au is really good).
